Security printing
The process of printing security products requires the use of high-quality and highly accurate equipment. For many years, our equipment has proven to be the preferred choice of security printers and state-owned printing houses. Offset printing offers the required print quality for highly secured products. The advantage of a hybrid press which includes offset printing units combined with other printing techniques, is that it creates a unique printing platform that allows secured products to be printed in a single pass through the machine.
The prevention of counterfeiting documents such as cheques, passports, stock certificates, postage stamps, banknotes, tax stamps and so on is critical to protect brands and personal information. Secured products and documents contain a high variety of security elements that make them hard or almost impossible to copy, and that is exactly the goal to be achieved in the security printing market. Below you can find multiple market segments in which our printing presses are being utilised. Click on the market segment you would like to learn more about to find out what DG press can offer you.
DG press supports Interpol’s Project S-Print Initiative to prevent the use of DG press equipment for the illegal production of currency and other high-end-security documents.
Governmental documents
Documents produced by local, state, federal, and international government bodies, as well as government-funded agencies and organisations, are all considered government documents. The DG-Vision press offers a versatile printing platform that can …
Passports
Passport production is a complex and highly secure process. Passports contain personal information and serve as a means of identification. Governments publish and issue passports, in highly secure state-printing facilities.
Visa
Visas come in several different types: tourist, immigration, student, or work. They are supplied to specific individuals who are granted access to a specific country, and therefore they contain highly sensitive information that should not be counterfeited.
Tickets
Depending on the type of event, event admission fees can be quite high. In some cases, such as concert tickets, Formula 1 tickets, and trade show tickets, the event organiser wishes to protect the authenticity of their entrance tickets to prevent illegal trade and counterfeiting.
Authentication labels
Authentication labels or security labels can be used to prevent product tampering and provide proof of authenticity. These labels usually have special security features that make them difficult to copy or show evidence when they are removed from their original location.
Tax stamps
Tax stamps ensure that the correct amount of revenue is collected and helps governments in certifying that products are genuine. These stamps allow governments to mark their taxable products, such as alcohol and tobacco, as well as authenticate, validate and trace the products.
