Job description
As an International Field Service Engineer, you are responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing complex offset machines at the customers’ location. You are well-versed in both software and electrical engineering. International projects might last anywhere from one week to three weeks. You will learn the ins and outs of repairing mechanical and electrical machine problems so that you are knowledgeable. You are in charge of commissioning and starting up the machines, which are done on-site at the customers. Keeping records (reports in English) for the customer and as a reference for the Back Office and other Service Engineers. If necessary, as an International Field Service Engineer, you train local mechanics and operators on using the machines.
A completed vocational (MBO) or higher education (HBO) degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
You have experience as an International Field Service Engineer in mechanical engineering
You have experience in resolving malfunctions and problems with machines
You have knowledge and experience with PLC techniques (fault finding and testing I/O, no computer programming). Preferably, Bosch Rexroth knowledge.
Flexibility and willingness to work abroad
You have an inquisitive and open attitude to learning new skills and techniques
You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing
Skills
You are flexible, resilient to stress, independent, proactive, and precise, but never lose sight of the customer
You have good communication skills and enjoy interacting with others
You are hands-on and possess problem-solving skills
Our offer
A basic salary of between € 3,200 and € 4,000 gross per month
