On August 7th, 2024, DG press celebrated its 15th anniversary. Founded in August 2009 by Peter Kloppers and Remko Koolbergen, DG press emerged from the legacy of Drent Goebel, starting as a service company and evolving into a leading machine manufacturer specialising in innovative web offset presses.
From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leadership
DG press began its journey with a small team of 12 former Drent Goebel employees, focused on machine maintenance, spare parts, and selling used machines. Over the years, we quickly recognised the industry’s ongoing demand for reliable and innovative printing solutions. This insight drove our commitment to meeting these needs through continuous innovation and exceptional service. Today, DG press has grown steadily, employing 60 dedicated professionals and serving over 550 satisfied customers worldwide. Since 2020, Remko Koolbergen has been the sole owner, continuing to drive the company’s vision forward.

DG press has significantly impacted the market for flexible packaging and label printing with our state-of-the-art hybrid web offset technology. Our product line includes the DG-AUXO, which caters to the label and flexible packaging markets and pharmaceutical and security sectors due to its versatility. Additionally, the DG-Vision has established a solid reputation in the security print market, being installed at several state-owned security printing houses all over the world. It remains a solid choice in the security market.

As DG press grew, the corporate branding was revised in 2022 to include a completely new logo and appearance, better representing our modern approach and innovative spirit. This rebranding effort underscored our dedication to staying relevant and connecting with our customers and partners.
